The Boat Company Wins The Seattle Times’ Best in the Pacific Northwest Award

The Boat Company wins the Bronze medal in the Boat Cruise category.

With World Tourism Day recognized tomorrow, we are delighted to announce that The Boat Company has been honored as a winner in The Seattle Times' Best in the Pacific Northwest awards for 2025.

This prestigious recognition, driven by the voices of our community through over 944,000 votes cast this year, reflects the deep appreciation for our work sharing the untouched splendor of the Tongass National Forest.

As a people’s choice award, it celebrates the shared love for the Pacific Northwest’s landscapes, innovation, and spirit, and we are profoundly grateful to our passengers, supporters, and friends who championed us in the Boat Cruise category.

This milestone affirms the care we pour into every cruise, and we’re humbled to be part of such a vibrant regional story.

The significance of this award is even sweeter as Seattle becomes our new off-season home at Nautical Landing Marina, where our vessels find harbor amid the city’s lively energy until we resume our voyages in 2026.

Now in its third year, The Seattle Times' Best in the PNW awards have grown into a cherished tradition, guided by community nominations and voting to spotlight excellence across the region.

As we prepare for our upcoming 6-night/7-day cruises beginning May 2026, this honor inspires us to continue delivering meaningful experiences on Alaska’s waters.

We invite you to learn more about this achievement and explore the full list of honorees at bestinthepnw.com/listing/the-boat-company.html, and we look forward to welcoming you back to share in our journey.
