The Boat Company Sets Sail for the First Time Since Pandemic

M/V Mist Cove in SE Alaska

It is here: May 2022; and The Boat Company will embark for its first journeys post-COVID. With passengers rearing to explore, a crew excited beyond measure, the M/V Mist Cove and M/V Liseron depart harbor for the beauty of SE Alaska.

We are honored to see our guests’ renewed fervor for travel and respite, for at the time of writing this update, our entire 2022 season is 2 cabins short of sold-out and our 2023 season is 80% booked.

That which draws us to The Tongass remains: its breadth of nature, its consuming peace—and our desire to protect it. Passengers seek The Boat Company as their exploration provider for our intimate size, our attention to detail in service, our luxury-meets-adventure experience and our mission of conservation, we continue to be told.

While it is good to know such reasons for business matters, these reasons are much more than that. They are what guide us through the passages each week, what keeps our team’s heads high and what helps define a bit of who we are.

So now that we’re here, back to our waters after a two-year pandemic-pause, we are more ready than ever to facilitate conservation-based travel in SE Alaska.
