The Boat Company Wins World’s Best Expedition Cruise Line
The Boat Company is honored to be awarded World’s Best Expedition Cruise Line in 2024 by the World Cruise Awards organization.
The World Cruise Awards is in its fourth year of recognizing excellent offerings in the cruise industry, specifically, and is the sister event to World Travel Awards, currently celebrating its 31st anniversary.
The Boat Company President, Hunter McIntosh, traveled abroad to Madeira to attend the ceremony held on November 24th, 2024, and accept our award.
Nominees for World’s Best Expedition Cruise Line included world-renowned Linblad Expeditions, Alaskan neighbors Uncruise Adventures, and more.
As reported on the World Cruise Awards website:

This award is very special to The Boat Company because not only is it determined by industry professionals, but also by popular vote. As a very, very small ship cruise line, The Boat Company may see around 600+ passengers each year. Certain cruise lines we are considered amongst for awards embark with 1,000+ passengers each trip of their season.
As you can imagine, for The Boat Company to win a “popular vote” award is huge considering such statistics.
We cannot thank our community—whom we always refer to as our family—enough for this one. This one is for you all. You really made a huge impact.
